3 Younger Students are Released Today, Kidnapped By Naxals Recently in Chattisgarh:
RAIPUR: Three students from Pune have been released yesterday, who were kidnapped recently by Naxals from the insurgency-hit Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh today, their families said.
“The three youths are released and reported missing from the forested pocket of Basaguda region of Bijapur bordering Maharashtra.
Kutru Inspector General of Police, Bastar Range, SRP Kalluri, is said to be the last place the three youths where they were seen by locals a few days back,” told to PTI.
As per information, the victims were identified as Aadrash Patil, Vilas Valcke and Shrikirhna Shevale, Kutru Inspector General of Police said.
The students had launched a cycle rally under their “Bharat(Link India) campaign to propagate the message of peace in Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and Odisha, the states worst affected by Naxalism over the past three decades, he said.
The three youths started their journey from Pune on December 20, and passing through several places of Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh, they were going to conclude it at Balamela in Odisha on January 10, he said.
