The Meaning of MinorityAffair Scholarship:

The Meaning of Minority Scholarship is a Scheme of free Scholarship for students belonging to Backward Caste and Minority Communities.This is Central Government Scheme for Students who are Highly Talented but Don’t have a money for Higher Education. The Government of India Logically Provided this Minority Meritorious free Scholarship for Poor/Backward /Minority Communities. They Provide Scholarship for Financial Assistance to the Poor and Meritorious Students Belonging to Minority Communities to Enable them to Pursue Professional and Technical courses in India.

Extension date/Last Date For Minority Meritorious Scholarship: 

The Last date for Minority Meritorious Scholarship has been extended to October 15, 2015. Due to Some Technical Problems/Full filament of Scholarships for Poor/Backward caste/Minority Communities. Last Date for Apply Minority Meritorious Scholarship on Online October 15, 2015.


Most Important Conditions For Minority Affair Scholarship:

. The annual income of the beneficiary/parent or guardian of beneficiary should not exceed Rs.2.50 lakh from all sources.
. The state department will advertise the scheme every year latest by 31st March and receive the application through the concerned institutions.
.30% scholarship will be reserved for girls of each minority community in a state which is transferable to the male student of that community in case of non-availability of the female candidate in that community in the concerned state.
. If the target for distribution of scholarship to a particular minority community in a state/UT is not fulfilled, it will be distributed among the same minority community of other States/UTs strictly in accordance with the merit.
. Students who get admission in technical/professional courses without facing any competitive examination will also be eligible for the scholarship. However, such students should have not less than 50% marks at higher secondary/graduation level. A selection of these students will be done strictly on merit basis.


Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme:

Every Year Government of India Officially Provides Scholarships 30,000 students approximately for their Academic year.The scholarship at Pre-Matric level will encourage Parents from Minority Communities to send their school going children to school, lighten their financial burden on school education and sustain their efforts to support their children to complete school education.The scheme will form the foundation for their educational attainment and provide a level playing field in the competitive employment arena. Empowerment through education, which is one of the objectives of this scheme, has the potential to lead to upliftment of the socio-economic conditions of the minority communities.

Number Of Scholarships per year:

Every year 20000 scholarships will be distributed among the students of Minority Communities throughout the Country. Based on the state-wise population of these Communities, the Distribution of Scholarship will be decided.

Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme:

The objective of the scheme is to award scholarships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of minority community so as to provide them better opportunities for higher education, increase their rate of attainment in higher education and enhance their employability.

Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship Scheme:

The objective of the Scheme is to provide financial assistance to the poor and meritorious students belonging to minority communities to enable them to pursue professional and technical courses.

These scholarships are available for studies in India only and will be awarded through State Government/UT Administration or an Agency designated by the State Government/UT Administration for this purpose.

How to Apply Minority Affair Scholarship:

Requirements to Attach:

. Student Passport Size Photo, Maximum Size 30kb
. AICTE Institution ID Card Copy
. Self declaration of Income Certificate by the Student with Parent /Guardian Signature
. Self declaration of a community by the student. Caste Certificate Issued By State Government
. In case of Fresh: Self-Attested Certificate of Last Board Exam Passed as filled in the Form.
. In case of Renewal: Self-Attested Certificate of the Last Exam Passed as filled in the Form.
. Fee Receipt of current/Pursues course year. Convenor/management Seats Receipts
. Bank Account Scanned Copy With Photo and Sign by the Student
. Aadhaar Card /Ration Card Xerox Copy.
